Day 1: Participants arrive and settle into a hotel in Bolzano previously booked for you by Oiden Tour. The city is also known as “The gateway to the Dolomites” (see: How to get here). Free time could be spent checking out Bolzano, which has plenty to offer.

Day 2: Meet with tour conductor at hotel. The Bletterbach Geopark has many exciting attractions. The excursion to the “Altoatesino Canyon” gives us a real insight of the Dolomites and shows us the their history. We stop for lunch in a local alpine hut. In the afternoon we can relax at Lake Caldaro before returning to Bolzano in the evening.

Day 3: The Brenta Dolomites, in the province of Trento, are no less spectacular than the eastern Dolomites. Starting from Madonna of Campiglio (1,522 m) an excursion of 3 hours to the Valle Sinella waterfalls with lunch at the Cascate Hut. In the afternoon, some free time at Madonna of Campiglio, the most important town in the area, a lively and well equipped tourist location both in summer and in winter.

Day 4: From Bolzano we will go to San Cipriano, after having stopped at Lake Carezza. A two and a half hour circular excursion will allow us to admire the Catinaccio. Lunch at the Hanicker alpine hut, where traditional local dishes are served. Back to Bolzano in the afternoon where you will have some free time for an optional visit to one of the many city museums.

Day 5: Today there is an excursion to the San Nicolò Valley near the Fassa Valley. Starting from Sauc towards Lagusel passing romantic lakes and waterfalls. Break for lunch at the Ciampiè Hut (1,826 m). Back to Sauc. Then we leave for Alta Val Badia. The panorama along the way to the Sella Pass is overwhelming. In the afternoon we will reach the Badia Valley where our hotel is located.

Day 6: After passing through the Valparola Pass we reach the Bai de Dones Hut, from here we take the chair lift to the Scoiattoli Hut. A two and a half hour walk and you will find yourself in the First World War (1915-1918) location where you will see evidence of the ferocious battles fought at that time. Back to Bai de Dones with the cable car. Stop at Pocol location for lunch. In the afternoon, some free time in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a well known place for international high society visitors. Back to Alta Badia.

Day 7: After a visit to Lake Misurina we get to the Auronzo Hut. There you can see the overwhelming three peaks of Lavaredo. You will have the chance to admire them from every angle during the three and a half hour excursion which will also take us to the Locatelli Hut for lunch. Back the Auronzo Hut briefly before heading back to the Badia Valley.

Day 8: We dedicate the last day of this tour to a less well known valley in the heart of the Dolomites, the Funes Valley. Starting from Santa Maddalena we will go to the Zannes shelter (1,685 m) and from there we will go up a partly winding path to the pass. The view of the Odle and Puez is certainly very rewarding. We then go down to the Genova shelter for lunch. A short break, then towards S. Maddalena. Back to Bolzano in the evening.

Day 9: Depart after breakfast. Private transfer is available to the next destination.
