Day 1: Participants arrive and settle into a hotel in Bolzano previously booked for you by Oiden Tour. The city is also known as “The gateway to the Dolomites” (see: How to get here). Free time could be spent checking out Bolzano, which has plenty to offer.

Day 2: Meet with tour conductor at hotel. From Bolzano we go to the center of the “Bletterbach” Geopark. The “Altoatesino canyon” is just one of the attractions of this open air museum. After a pleasant walk we will have lunch in a mountain hut. The afternoon will be free to relax on the banks of the magnificent Lake Caldaro. Back to Bolzano.

Day 3: In the morning we will go up wth the new cable car where we will reach the plateau of Renon, a holiday location priviledged by the people of Bolzano, in just 12 minutes. A very sunny place where the winter is not as harsh as in other place with the same latitude. We take the old characteristic train to Colalbo. We then go up by cable car to the Cima of Lago Nero where our excursion begins on the Corno del Renon (2,260 m) and where you can admire the panorama. Lunch break in a restaurant and then, from Longomoso, we will have a look at the extraordinary phenomenon of the “Piramidi di Terra” (Earth pyramids). Free time in Bolzano.

Day 4: Leaving from Bolzano we go towards Non Valley, a wide, sunny valley in the province of Trento. We are surrounded by vast apple cultivations. We will visit the monastery of San Romedio and then go to Castel Vasio to a typical restaurant. In the afternoon we plunge into the nature and from Fondo we go to the Rio Sass canyon. A well equipped route has been expertly created so that you can enjoy the landscape eroded into the rock in all safety.

Day 5: We go to Lake Carezza where a three hour excursion will take us through woods with marvellous glimpses of Latemar right up to the grassy clearing of Mittelreger. Lunch in the Costalunga area. After a stop at the spectacular Sella Pass (2,244 m) we will go towards Alta Val Badia. In these locations there is a perfect compromise between the nature and tradition and services for tourists.

Day 6: Early start for the Marmolada from Badia Valley. First we will admire the Serrai of Sottoguda, then we will go up the Marmolada with the cable car to the Dal Lago Hut (3,260 m) where we can closely observe the wonders of the glacier (UNESCO heritage). Lunch at Punta Serauta or Punta Rocca. Back to the Badia Valley crossing the Falzarego and Valparola passes which are well worth seeing.

Day 7: Today is the three peaks of Lavaredo day. A great classic, together with Cortina d’Ampezzo, are a must in any itinerary in the Dolomites. After a break at Lake Misurina, we walk towards the Lavaredo Hut (2,344 m) from the Auronzo Hut. This is where the three peak reveal their splendour. Lunch in the shelter. In the afternoon, time for a walk around Cortina, a covetous tourist place. Back to the Badia Hut.

Day 8: To enjoy both the attractive but at the same time harsh landscape we propose a gentile walk which takes us through the Gardena Pass to Colfosco. We then go to the Pusteria Valley for a typical South Tyrolean meal in a restaurant. We stop on the banks of the idyllic Lake Braies and a visit to the lively city of Brunico, main town of the Pusteria Valley. Back to Bolzano in the evening.

Day 9: Depart after breakfast. Private transfer is available to the next destination.
